Construction Method Of Bailey Bridge

1. Construction of Bailey Bridge wall foundation. Calculate the load to be borne by the foundation wall of Bailey Bridge, excavate the foundation pit of support pier foundation, according to the geological conditions to judge its bearing capacity to meet the design requirements, clean the base, and pour the concrete strip foundation.

2. Place the wall cushion beam of Bailey Bridge. According to the design drawing of Beret bridge wall foundation, the position of longitudinal and transverse cushion beams is released, and the ink line is popped out. According to the ink line swing loose, transverse pad beam, and bolt connection, longitudinal and transverse pad beam should be placed horizontally, the local uneven application of steel pad flat, in order to determine uniform force. Then install the Bailey bridge wall base.

3. Hoisting the wall of Bailey Bridge. 6m or 9m of the bridge wall is one section, and each bridge wall is in 3 groups, each group is assembled by 3 pieces of the bridge wall. Each group is first assembled at the construction site and then hoisted. Bailey bridge wall shall be assembled in layers, and the connecting rods between Bailey pieces shall be installed in time. After installing a layer, hoist the next layer until the design elevation. When hoisting the next Bailey support pier, the pier top longitudinal cushion beam should be connected with the Bailey plate head and then hoisting together.

4. Hoisting the Bailey beam at the top of the wall of Bailey Bridge. Bailey beam at the top of the wall of Bailey Bridge is composed of 22 double-row single-layer Bailey beams of 39m length, each group is assembled by 26 Beret beams. Each group is assembled at the construction site first, and then hoisted, and the connecting rods between the Bailey pieces are installed in time, and connected with the Bailey bridge wall.

5. Check and accept. Check whether all parts are connected and ensure that all parts are connected as required before hoisting the Bailey stringer and the support template above for the next step.
